to live at home with mom and dad
they're different now, its not so bad
you're changing too you know

the sentimental pieces of rubbish left you speechless
the memories embalmed in your childhood bedroom weeping
you imagined more, staring at the ceiling, pretending you were dreaming of anything else

i miss my job, i miss my life
driving my car through yellow lights
cancel on friends to no suprise
oh all my regrets revolve

never had the thought, or didn't plan
for apocalypse to be so bland
at the supermarket buying carrots, frozen foods and milk

i miss my friends, i miss the fights
i miss those useless fucking nights
up to the roof to go get high,
i miss the planes up in the sky

my soul is bare, the mood is bleak
another endless, depressing week
if it's not obvious to say, i don't like weekends either
